This is essential and something far too many practitioners (unintentionally) fail to focus upon.
I'll explain WHY it's so important and show you HOW it can be achieved (every day).
I want Maths to be everywhere.
How do I plan for Maths outdoors?
You're spot on. Your children will build their mathematical skills far more quickly and easily when you surround them with opportunities to learn.
Teaching outside is one of my favourite ways to teach Maths so I can't wait to share this with you!
But they're SO young!
How to I keep them engaged?
You're right; they are extremely young and their young attention span can be very short. You need to understand why this is and plan your provision accordingly.
Short, sharp, meaningful activities are the way children aged 3-5 learn best when under adult direction. (This can be a very different story when they initiate learning themselves however...)

Assessment all too often becomes an accountability exercise. This can really get on top of you.
I'll show you how to assess in a way that makes your planning far easier and much more effective. You'll LOVE it's simplicity and the many ways it can be used to inform parents, senior leaders and inspectors about how you teach and the progress your children are making.
